This is our take on the classic deliciously waming "turmeric latte". We like to use rice milk as it is nut-free and there is no need to add any extra sweetener (it's naturally very sweet)! It's a nice basic recipe so have a play around and re-balance spices to your taste. Of course, you can always use any type of milk and add sweetener to taste. Black pepper is a significant ingredient in this recipe as it helps the body absorb curcumin from the turmeric.

    Heat the coconut milk in a pan on a low heat until warm but not boiling.

    Add all the spices and whisk well. Alternatively use a blender if you like.
