
Spooky Halloween Brownies

Everybody loves a brownie so why not create some delicious, spooky Halloween brownies this season.
Perfect for Halloween parties and the kid (and adults) will absolutely love them!

Preheat oven to 180 degrees

Line a tin with baking powder or grease well

Put the pumpkin puree, melted dark chocolate buttons and dairy free margarine into a blender and whizz up to combine well

Sift in the oat flour (or flour alternative) along with the coconut sugar, cacao (or cocoa/carob), flaxseed (ground linseed), spices and baking powder and whizz to blend into a smooth batter

Pour the brownie batter into the lined baking tin and spread evenly and bake for 20 minutes

Once baked, remove from the oven and leave to completely cool in the tin

In the meantime, add the yogurt, maple syrup, tahini and charcoal into a bowl and combine well and put in the fridge until the brownies have completely cooled

Once the brownies have completely cooled cut into 9-12 brownies

Remove from the tine and place on a board

Spoon over the black frosting into a thin layer and decorate with edible eyes and freeze dried raspberries

- For the brownies :
- 3 tbsp Coconut oil
- 3 tbsp Dairy-free margarine
- 100g Dark chocolate
- 100g Pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 150g Oat flour
- 100g Coconut sugar
- 30g Cacao, cocoa or carob powder
- 2 tbsp Ground flaxseeds
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (preferably Ceylon)
- 1/2 tsp Ground ginger
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- For the frosting :
- 200g Coconut yoghurt
- 4 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Black tahini
- 1 tsp Activated charcoal
- For the decoration :
- 24 Edible eyes
- Sprinkle Freeze dried raspberries
