Hibiscus tea with a touch of spice thanksk to the addition of the purest forms of cinnamon.

Ceylon cinnamon and hibiscus flowers are a match made in heaven you have to try this recipe.

  • 1.

    Boil the water in a kettle or on the hob. Combine the hibiscus and boiling water in a mug.

  • 2.

    Use a tea infuser/strainer to avoid bits of hibiscus. Or multiply the quantities and use a teapot or heat resistant jug and strain as you pour.

  • 3.

    Steep for 10 minutes (less or more depending on preference).

  • 4.

    Add sweetener such as raw honey, lemon and cinnamon if you desire.
