Is this quite possibly the most incredible looking breakfast bar?

Mix up your usual breakfast routine and try these delicious seedy blueberry oat bars created for us by the talented Spamella.

Made with tasty, healthy, wholesome ingredients they are easy to make and will be enjoyed by the whole family.

Packed full of grains, seeds and fruit you will be rest assured that they will provide you with energy to take you through until lunch.

Alternatively you can enjoy as a healthy snack or dessert - the choice is yours!

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 180C and line a 20cm loose bottom baking tray with grease proof paper

  • 2.

    In a large bowl, add the cooked quinoa, oats, seeds,Ceylon cinnamon and pinch of nutmeg and mix together to combines the ingredients

    Mash a banana with a fork and add to the bowl

  • 4.

    Melt the coconut oil and butter in a pan

  • 5.

    Add the raw honey, nut butter and the vanilla extract

  • 6.

    Add to the bowl along with the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds and combine to create a thick, sticky flapjack mixture.

  • 7.

    Transfer mixture to the lined baking tin and press down firmly with the back of the spoon

  • 8.

    Mix together the fresh blueberries, sunflower seeds, mixed seeds and pumpkin seeds and sprinkle on top of the flapjacks and gently pat down

  • 9.

    Place in the over for around 30 minutes to bake

  • 10.

    Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin. The flapjacks will firm up during cooling.

  • 11.

    Once cooled, cut into 8-10 sections and enjoy with a cup of tea
