Delicious cranberry sauce, naturally sweetened for a delicate sweetness.

It is the perfect sauce to accompany any roast for Thanksgiving or Christmas day!

Method
  • 1.

    Rinse the fresh cranberries in luke warm water and drain (remove any that have gone soft or bad)

  • 2.

    In a medium sauce pan, place the cranberries, maple syrup, orange juice (if using) and water and over a medium heat slowly bring to the boil

  • 3.

    Reduce heat and simmer until cooked (around 5-10 minutes) stirring continuously

  • 4.

    Remove from the heat and add the orange zest and stir well

  • 5.

    If the sauce is a a little tart, add some stevia or a little extra maple syrup and stir through

  • 6.

    It will continue to thicken whilst cooling

  • 7.

    Keep in a airtight in the fridge for up to two weeks - perfect for the festive season!

  • 350g Cranberries (fresh)
  • 0.5 cups Maple syrup
  • 0.5 cups Water
  • Zest of 1 Medium orange
  • Touch of Pure orange juice
