
Maple & Coconut Roasted Nuts

These are a slightly healthier (but equally as delicious) version of traditional caramelised nuts. It's so easy to make your own roasted nuts and tailor them to your favourite flavours!
Use any nuts you like: pecans, brazils, cashews, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts all work well!

Pre-heat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Mix the maple syrup, coconut, vanilla extract and salt in a medium sized bowl, with enough room to add the nuts.

Add the nuts and ensure they are thoroughly coated.

Spread nuts evenly over a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Roast for 8-10 minutes, or until browned nicely (keep a very good eye on them, especially hazelnuts). Give a shake/stir half way through cooking.

Leave to cool before eating or storing.
- 1 Cup Mixed Nuts
- 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Tbsp Desiccated Coconut
- A few drops of Vanilla Extract
- A pinch of Salt
