Appealing on the eye and on the taste buds these crusty turmeric rolls are delightful served with warming soup . Easy to make and gluten free, you can whip these up in just 1 hour.

Method
  • 1.

    Preheat over to gas mark 4 / 180°

  • 2.

    Mix together the tapioca flour, salt, coconut flour and turmeric powder in a large bowl

  • 3.

    Add oil and warm water and mix with hands or in a bread maker into a dough

  • 4.

    If the mixture is too thin, add extra coconut flour until it creates a sticky dough

  • 5.

    With greased hands, place the dough in an oiled bowl and let it rest where it will double in size (around 30 minutes)

  • 6.

    Dust a surface with flour and scoop dough mixture out of the bowl and knead until smooth

  • 7.

    Cut into even pieces and and place on a lined tray for 20 minutes to double the size again

  • 8.

    Bake in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes until warm and golden.
