Chocolate dipped candie clementines are a luxurious, sweet snack.

Making your own is easy, however if you are stuck for time, buy our glace orange slices and simply dip in chocolate for a delicious treat.

  • 1.

    Place the sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil

  • 2.

    Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and reduce down to a simmer

  • 3.

    Use a sharp knife to slice the oranges into thin slices Around 5mm thick)

  • 4.

    Place the fruit directly into the simmering sugar syrup

  • 5.

    Ensure all of the fruit is covered by the sugar syrup and cover the pan with some baking paper and simmer for 2 hours

    In the meantime, set the oven to 75 degrees

  • 7.

    After 2 hours have passed, carefully drain the liquid from the orange slices

  • 8.

    Line a baking tray with baking paper (grease proof paper) and gently lay the candied orange slices on the lined tray

  • 9.

    Place in the oven for 2 hours to dry out

  • 10.

    After 2 hours, remove from the oven and leave to air dry and cool

  • 11.

    In the meantime, melt the chocolate and coconut oil slowly, stirring throughout to ensure it doesn't burn

  • 12.

    Once melted, remove from the heat

  • 13.

    Dip each candied orange slice into the chocolate and place each one on grease proof paper

  • 14.

    Sprinkle with a little sugar and place in the fridge to cool and set

  • 15.

    Once cooled, remove from the fridge and place in an airtight container and pop back in the fridge.
