Almond Butter
Adam Ross
- Recipe by: Adam Ross
Serves 1 - 4
Prep time: 5min
Cooking time: 0min
Almonds are one of the most nutritious nuts and nut butter is so easy to make! What are you waiting for? ;)
Note: Use any nut you like! Walnuts, pecans, cashews, hazelnuts... the choice is yours.
Method
-
1.
Place the almonds in a good food processor (preferably one with an 's' blade)
-
2.
Process the almonds until they start to release their oils and turn into a creamy butter. This make take 20 minutes so please give your processor a break if it needs it. Some are fine but some will automatically switch off when they start to get too hot.
-
3.
Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge. This can last up to a month in the fridge as long as no extra ingredients have been added such as water or sweeteners.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Almonds
