These are so easy to make - mix in a bowl and shove in the oven. Done! 

Choose any mixture of nuts, seeds and dried fruit that you like!

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 165C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Set aside.

  • 2.

    Add the mixed nuts, puffed rice and salt to a large bowl. Pour the raw honey (or maple syrup) over this mixture. Stir until well mixed.

    Pour this mixture onto the prepared baking tray. Using a rubber spatula, smooth into a tightly packed, even layer. Bake for 30 minutes (keep an eye on them as the can go from well done to burnt in a second!) Make sure that the bars are baked thoroughly otherwise they won’t hold together when cooled.

  • 4.

    Allow to cool for 1 hour, or until completely cooled. Use a heatproof spatula to gently lift and loosen bars from parchment. Slice into bars and enjoy!

  • 5.

    Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up 1-3 weeks. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
