This recipe is so easy to make and is perfect for breakfast or dessert, on Pancake day or not! This can serve any kind of diet as you can just adjust the ingredients to suit you! Add some cacao powder for chocolate crepes or spices for a savoury twist.

  • 1.

    Combine 1Tbsp Ground Linseed or Chia Seeds with 3 Tbsp of warm water and leave to absorb for a few minutes.

    Whisk the milk and egg into the flour in a mixing bowl. Add your cacao powder, spices or any additional dry ingredients to the flour at this stage (before adding the milk and egg).

  • 3.

    Add more milk/flour if the consistency of the batter isn't quite right. Remember you want this quite thin so that you can make thin crepes out of it.

  • 4.

    Cook on one side until there is no liquid batter visible, then flip your pancake to cook the other side.

  • 5.

    Add your favourite toppings and enjoy!
