This is a proper no nonsense flapjack! Simple, easy, clean, very cheap ... and it tastes great too!

This is based on a recipe by our good friend and food blogger Hedi ( - she is the queen of quick and cheap clean eating recipes!

So for this recipe we just subbed out the raisins for chopped apricots but you could make it using a combination of the two or experiment with other dried fruits (you could even add seeds to replace some of the oats if you like!)

This is genuinely one of our favourite recipes ever for ease, cost and health. Enjoy!

    Mash banana well in a big bowl.

  • 2.

    Mix in the oats and apricot pieces.

  • 3.

    Oil a dish with coconut oil. Put mix in dish and press down firmly.

  • 4.

    Cook for 15 minutes on 200°C (180°C fan) until browned on the top.
