Cooking Instructions

I found 1 cup (200g) lentils to 2.25 cups or (540g / ml) cooked for 40 minutes to work.

To adjust for more or less
For 40 minutes cooking time to ALWAYS need 1 cup / 240ml / g water for evaporation.

Multiply the grams of lentils by 1.5 to estimate the amount of water needed for absorption (100g/200g lentils = 150g/200g water) and then add the 240g on top of that to evaporate during cooking.

This gives firm lentils.
