About Organic Aronia Berries (Chokeberry)
Aronia berries, also known as chokeberries, are a small dark berry very similar to Bilberries. Aronia (Chokeberries) are cultivated because they are very high in antioxidant pigment compounds, like anthocyanins, as well as being a good source of vitamin C. The taste of Aronia Berries are unforgettable, they start off with a mildly sweet and sour taste which becomes tart as you chew. These amazing berries are ideal for anyone who likes blackberries, and mix well with yoghurts, berry mixes, muesli, but can be added to stews for some unique flavours.

Interesting

An interesting berry but probably not my favourite as they are quite dry little critters. Will persevere with them as part of a breakfast topping.
