Great for a tasty soup

Remember Batchchelors thick Lincoln green pea packet soup, well now re-create youre own with these green split peas. Add green peas, diced potato, diced and fried onion, celery and garlic, bay leaves, chicken stock, salt and pepper, result, a thick wonderful winter warmer. If you do not soak the peas overnight you will need to simmer for about two hours until soft and just starting to break down.
