Delivery Terms and Conditions

Please note that we have made temporary changes to shipping methods and costs following the current circumstances.

Customers will be able to choose from the following:

  • Free Standard Delivery (on orders over £20.00) - Free - 5-7 Working Days
  • Standard Delivery (on orders under £20.00) - £2.99 - 5-7 Working Days
  • Express Service (orders under £30 and under 5kg) - £12.99 - 1-2 Working Days- Royal Mail
  • Express Service (orders over £30 and under 5kg) - £7.99 - 1-2 Working Days- Royal Mail
  • Express Service (orders under £30 and over 5kg) - £12.99 - Next day - Parcelforce
  • Express Service (orders over £30 and over 5kg) - £7.99 - Next day - Parcelforce

Our cut off point for despatch is currently 3pm.

Delivery methods will return to normal as soon as possible.


We currently send parcels under 5kg with Royal Mail and over 5kg with Parcelforce or DHL.

Royal Mail: Ends in GB (ie QS303890658GB)
Parcelforce: Starts with letters and ends with numbers (ie PBTF5028093001)
DHL: All numbers (ie 41829820009365)

Orders to mainland UK: 

Orders over £20 are shipped free of charge (excluding VAT applicable on any products). Our free delivery service will normally take up to 7 working days to arrive.

Orders under £20 are charged according to which option has been selected:

  • Royal Mail Tracked Standard (2-7 Working Days): Flat fee of £2.99. Maximum weight allowed is 4.75kg. Orders will normally take between 2 and 7 working days to arrive.
  • Royal Mail Tracked Express (1-2 Working Days): Flat fee of £3.99. Maximum weight allowed is 4.75kg. Orders will normally take between 1 and 2 working days to arrive.
  • Parcelforce 24: Flat fee of £6.99 per 27kg. No weight restrictions.  Orders will normally take between 1 and 2 working days to arrive.

Orders to the UK Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and other Islands:

We offer free shipping over £20 and under 10kg OR over £100 with no weight limit to: 

Shetland Islands (ZE Postcode)
Northern Ireland (BT Postcode)

We are sorry that we cannot offer free shipping to these areas:

Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man

Parcelforce UK Delivery Exceptions: 

There are some post codes excluded from normal delivery times in the UK. This means the delivery may take longer than 24 or 48 hours or the service may not be available at all.

For further information on shipping outside the UK please see the European and International Shipping Rates page. Please note for International orders all excise duty tax must be paid by the customer.

Late Deliveries (UK):

If your order has been delivered late you can be entitled to a refund on these costs. Royal Mail Tracked 48 and Parcelforce 48 are not guaranteed services and will only be refunded if the time delay is unreasonable.

Guaranteed next day services (Special Delivery, Parcelforce 24, and any other special timed services) are always entitled to a full refund on the postage no questions asked. Please note all orders for a next day service need to be placed before 3pm to ensure delivery. If late delivery means the goods are no longer required, then a refund will be issued for the full order provided the order is not accepted on delivery.

Buy Whole Foods Online Ltd can not be held accountable for late deliveries if the courier is at fault. We will not offer compensation or be held accountable unless we have signed a guarantee contract for delivery. If you require a law binding contract, this must be made at least 2 days in advance.

Returns Information (UK):

Our returns/refund policy is in accordance with EU distance-selling regulations (2000), which outlines your rights to cancel your order. If you wish to cancel an order, written notice, by email/letter, must be given within 14 days of receipt of the good(s) and the good(s) must be returned, within 14 days of receipt. You must quote your order number and we will advise the return address/procedure. We will only offer a refund or replacement as long as good(s) are sent back in their original condition, are unused and unopened in their original packaging. For health and safety reasons, we will not be able to accept returns or refunds on any foods items that have been used, opened or had their security seal broken. If your goods do not arrive in perfect condition, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. Photographic evidence of damage is required or the return of the damaged item in order to request a replacement or refund. Our products are only categorised as 'short-dated' once the expiry date is under 3 months. We are unable to refund or replace an item if the expiry date is longer than 3 months at the time of purchase. If your goods arrive in an unfit state, please refuse delivery and contact us so we can resend your order quickly and report the damage. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation. Your statutory rights are not affected.

We can offer a returns service at our discretion for £3.99 for non faulty goods; the customer will need to include the order number and reason for return with any item.
